Eluga handset gets an upgrade!
The Japanese TV king rejoined the european smartphone market last month with the unveiling of the original Panasonic Eluga an OLED-toting smartphone with a name like a cut-price tequila brand. However the Eluga's sibbling is an eye catcher. A mighty beast of a handset, it boasts 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 dualcore processor, Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and an eight-megapixel camera. The 8GB storage is disappointing but the 5in 720p HD LCD screen is the kind of finery you'd expect from telly royalty. Price tag $695
